County Juniors start with a big win

The Yorkshire Juniors team had a great start to their season with a 429-355 aggregate win over the Wales team last Saturday. Winning both the home and away legs when winning 15 of the 24 games to run out convincing victors.

The home team won 7 of the 12 single games at Broad Oak to build a 24 aggregate lead but then the away 12 surpassed that by winning 8 singles games in Wrexham to clinch a further 50 point aggregate lead to make the difference 74.

Next up for Yorkshire in the 4-team competition is Shropshire who beat Staffordshire in the opening round of fixtures. All the fixtures, results and scorecards are below.
