Could it be an All-Lockwood Con Team KO Final?

Three Division 1 teams and one Division 3 team will contest the Semi-Finals of the Team KO with the two Lockwood Con teams are in that quartet and in different halves of the draw so a unique A team v B team Final is possible.

The Division 3 side Lockwood Con 'B' (+29 handicap) team completed a hat-trick of wins over teams with the same +23 handicap. They are a real KO team this season after also reaching the semi-finals of the Bistro which is played next Thursday (17 August) but their League form has been poor as they face a second consecutive relegation as they currently sit in the Division 3 relegation places.. They have a tough assignment in taking on Division 1 high-fliers Cowcliffe in the semi-finals but with an 18 point start they will fancy their chances once again with the match rescheduled to be played at Linthwaite Hall and not Lindley Lib.

The last two winners of this competition will meet in the other Semi-Final when 2021 winners Lockwood Con 'A' take on the reigning Champions Golcar Lib 'A' at Broad Oak. The Semi-Final meeting of two scratch sides came about after Golcar Lib finally overcame their bogey team Marsh United 'A' who had already completed a League double over them so this was especially satisfying for the League leaders. With the Lockwood Con 'A' team looking towards the possibility of an all-Lockwood Con Final anything is possible and with both teams playing off scratch things are closely matched.
