Christmas Quiz: 'Name the Green' answers

Time to reveal the answers to our Christmas Special Name The Green competition and confess to an error. Des Emsall has put me right when I originally named No.6 as Marsden Park. As I now know Marsden Park, Kirklees has only one green. But Marsden Park, Nelson in Lancashire has two greens and is the one featured on the competition. Thanks to Des for sorting me out. Big mistake, my apologies.

So that left four entrants that had named the other 8 clubs correctly namely Martin Holt, Jeff Smith, Mike Thornton and Des Emsall. There were probably more of you that got all 8 correct but didn't submit your answers in the mistaken belief that I knew what I was doing with these photos. Sorry again.

Another 'Name The Green' quiz next week using easier images from Google satellite photographs to tease and torment you and hopefully no more errors of this magnitude.
