Bowls Big Weekend build-up gathers pace

BowlsEngland are now inviting clubs participating in the Bowls Big Weekend over the Spring Bank Holiday to register their events on their website. It is expected that this will provide a forum to display all club activities over that weekend and help promote those events as well as show bowling to be working proactively to get people back on the green. In addition clubs will then be given access to a range of materials including posters to advertise your event in your local community.

Great news! We are delighted to advise you that you can now register your club's Bowls' Big Weekend event/s via our dedicated website, showcasing our sport over the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend (Friday 28th May to Monday 31st May).

All events registered for Bowls' Big Weekend will be automatically added to the Bowls' Big Weekend event finder. Once registered, you will receive an automated email enabling you to access these exclusive resources:

  • Club Guide Your bitesize guidance to everything from planning, promoting, delivering and follow-up from your event

  • Marketing Guide Ever wondered how, where or to who you should be marketing your club? You’ll find in-depth guidance and tips here

  • Marketing Checklist Once you’ve planned your marketing strategy, make sure everyone at the club knows their role

  • Digital Marketing, Posters and Banners A wide range of marketing materials that you can edit with your club, contact and event details

Notification will automatically be sent to your contact when participants register for your event, advising you of their contact details and number of people attending in order to manage your day safely in accordance with the government roadmap. To assist club's further with any queries regarding Bowls' Big Weekend, we shall be hosting an information session and will circulate further details on this early next week.
