Bowls Big Weekend
Planning and preparation for the start of the campaign to promote bowling back into focus continue with an online webinar open to all.
The Bowls Big Weekend is a series of events nationally and within clubs to publicise the benefits of bowling to a new audience as well as enticing hesitant bowlers back on to the green.
It will be staged over the 4-day Spring Bank Holiday weekend and this latest event is aimed at helping clubs complete their plans for involvement in supporting it.
The two additional webinars will be presented to assist your club with the promotion of your Bowls' Big Weekend events, taking place over the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend (Friday 28th May to Monday 31st May). There are two identical online webinar sessions and these will take place on Thursday 15th April at 6pm and Wednesday 21st April at 2pm. The webinars being offered will be tailored to focus on the upcoming Bowls' Big Weekend, and during the two-hour workshop, attendees will learn about:
The importance of having a marketing strategy
How to run a focused promotional campaign
How to evaluate your promotional campaign
What your club's role in your local community can be
The benefits of engaging with your local community
How to connect with your local community
The sessions will develop your skills, improve your knowledge and ultimately help you develop your club. Please note that attendees only need to attend one of the seminars. If you are unable to make either of the dates, please don't worry as the seminar will be recorded for your viewing at a later date.
