Big win sends Inter-District team top

A whitewash 8 rubbers to nil win for our home team set the scene for an overall 38-18 win over Wakefield and a return to the top of the Yorkshire Veterans Inter-District League table. Meanwhile, West Riding were inflicting a first defeat of the season on Leeds to contribute to the change at the top of the running order.

The next round of fixtures sees our representative team taking on the surprise package of Leeds returning to the competition for the first time since pre-Covid. They had never previously figured prominently in the competition but that all changed this season when they have been a massive presence throughout.
