The BCGBA has released a programme of national events for ladies to be played in 2021.
County Cup
For 2021 only a County Cup will replace the County Championship.
Participating counties will be split into two regions, North and South with qualifying taking place on Sunday 18th July.
Qualifying will take place at a central venue in each region with matches played on a round robin basis.
A final day will take place on Sunday 19th September on the greens at Heaton Park, Greater Manchester. The number of teams in the final day will be determined once we know how many teams have entered.
Teams will consist of eight players per side.

Singles Merit
We are delighted to tell you that we have a generous sponsor who has pledged financial support to the ladies each year and so we will use this for our merit.
For 2021 only a Singles Merit competition will replace the Senior Individual Merit.
A maximum of 64 players to contest the event at a central venue on Sunday 15th August.
Each county will be permitted to enter two players.
It will be down to each county how they choose to select their participants.
Each county will be permitted to name four reserves. A draw will be made fill the vacancies that exist.
CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES – FRIDAY 30th APRIL
Any county not replying by the closing date will not be included in either competition.
2019 Champion of Champions
Unfortunately, we are unable to complete the 2019 competition on Saturday 8th May as we had hoped. We will complete this event later in the year and will ensure all remaining competitors and County Associations are kept updated.
