BCGBA County KO Draw

One of the few county competitions being played this year is the BCGBA Senior County Championship Knock-Out Trophy and that opens with the First Round being played next Sunday (4 July). The format has been changed to a straight knock-out format this year due to COVID restrictions.

Yorkshire play Merseyside in the opening round with the winners meeting Wales In Round 2.

Although the draw is widely advertised I have been unable to find notice of the greens being used for the Yorkshire matches with no guidance on any of the BCGBA or Yorkshire CCGBA information sites. I know that there is a following of county competitions that look forward to these competitions so hopefully someone will be able to tell me the venues so that I can add that detail to this posting.

FIRST ROUND – Sunday 4th July (2pm)

1 Yorkshire v Merseyside

2 Wales v Bye

3 Potteries & District v North Midlands

4 South Yorkshire v Cumbria

5 Greater Manchester v Staffordshire

6 North Lancs & Fylde v Shropshire

7 Warwick & Worcester v Lancashire

8 Derbyshire v Cheshire

SECOND ROUND – Sunday 1st August (2pm)

9 Yorkshire or Merseyside v Wales

10 Potteries & District or North Midlands v South Yorkshire or Cumbria

11 Greater Manchester or Staffordshire v North Lancs & Fylde or Shropshire

12 Warwick & Worcester or Lancashire v Derbyshire or Cheshire

SEMI-FINALS – Sunday 5th September (2pm)
