Bowling News
It is Yorkshire v Warwick & Worcester in Sunday's BCGBA Senior County Championship Final. After beating Merseyside, Wales and North Midlands on their way to the Final the Yorkshire team now meet the defending holders of this prestigious County competition. The COVID-affected competition has enforced a change of format on the BCGBA which this year is a straight Knock-Out competition rather than the usual league format.
With the KO Final home leg being held at Meltham this Sunday it is a great opportunity to see top level bowling and a chance to witness history being made as the Yorkshire team chase winning the title for the first time since 2016. To do that they will have to overcome a Warwick & Worcester side that has won the title for the last two years.
The away team are at the green at the British Oak public horse at Stirchley in Birmingham.
All the team player-by-player draws are below but first here is an extract from the BCGBA Newsletter as it previews the Final.
