Preview of Divisions 3, 4 & 5 fixtures for Tuesday 30 May

The top three teams in Division 3 are all on the same 41-point mark and all three have to face away matches against bottom-half teams this week. Two of them are up against the two teams occupying the two relegation places at present with Brockholes 'A' visiting Lockwood Con 'B' and Golcar Lib 'B' facing bottom of the pile Meltham 'B'. That should make the Skel Windmill versus Almondbury Lib match as the most difficult one facing the leading trio but time will tell. Fourth-placed Paddock I&C are well positioned to take full advantage of that situation as they are only two points adrift and are at home to Huddersfield Recreation Club.
Denby Dale believe that they are still within a shout of the honours and a home match against Outlane could provide the perfect platform to muscle in on the top four places. Slaithwaite v Kirkheaton C&BC 'A' is a mid-table confrontation with the Yetton boys more in need of a win to prise themselves away from the bottom order.
With the Division 4 leaders, Springwood, having the day off presents an opening for Lindley Lib 'B' to reduce the current 4-point gap which they could do with a home match with lowly Ravensknowle Park.
The chasing pack of three teams all have home fixtures this week so a good opportunity for all of them to reduce that lead but it is difficult to see any of them passing Springwood after this round of matches. It also makes it difficult for the bottom three teams to improve their chances of moving out of the drop zone and the two-point gap between them isn't likely to move much at all this week.
The feature match in Division 5 pitches the unbeaten leaders, Milnsbridge BC 'B', at home to second-placed David Brown Sports with 4 points between them at the start of play. Four points separate the next five teams in a congested mid-table which is ripe for a change that could come with any one team producing a big win this week.
