Now that the Lindley Open has been completed and the prize fund of £4,000 claimed and disappeared the next real action on the Lindley BC green is a Ladies County match when Yorkshire Ladies take on the Warwick & Worcester opposite numbers. It is the semi-finals of the BCGBA Senior Ladies County competition with the home leg being played at the Lindley BC. This is a rerun of the 2025 semi-final when Yorkshire beat the W&W side 430-378 and a similar outcome this year would be most welcome.

The other semi-final features Shropshire and North Midlands so we could be heading for a repeat of last year's final when the Yorkshire Ladies beat Shropshire 433-418. But first there is the small matter of pushing aside the challenge from the emerging Warwick & Worcester teams.

The action all takes place on Sunday 16 August and the line-ups have already been published as below.
