Yorkshire into BCGBA County Final

Congratulations to the Yorkshire team for winning their BCGBA Senior County Championship Semi-Final yesterday against Warwick & Worcester. The season-long competition to discover the BCGBA Senior County Champions reached the semi-final stage this Sunday and the Yorkshire side saw off the very big threat from Warwick & Worcester, with a 62 aggregate win.

Winning the away leg 228-211 with both teams posting six winners apiece. The home team were at Whitkirk and they clocked up 8 winners to take the aggregate 230-185 and so come away with a 458-396 aggregate total win.

In the final to be played on Sunday 4 September, the Yorkshire team will meet Shropshire who beat Lancashire 454-390 in the other semi-final. The scorecards for the Yorkshire team semi-final matches are below.
