Only three ties were played in the most revered competition, the Yorkshire Cup, but those saw Thongsbridge A retain their interest in the competition with a whitewash 247 score along with five other Huddersfield area teams that had byes on the day.

Huddersfield area teams are well represented in the Quarter-Finals of the Henry Taylor Cup after Clayton West saw off Harehills by winning all 12 games to join Thongsbridge B, Crosland Moor B and Elland C&BC in the last eight.
