For The Attention Of all 81 Winter League team captains.

As we approach of the start of the Winter League season we need to ensure that we are fully up to date with everything to minimise delays and confusion. I am sure that all team captains have things they need to do in readiness for the season but I am going to add to that list with a To-Do-List of jobs for you that I am aware of. These jobs need completing at least three days before your first match of the season but can be done anytime from now onward.

TEAM CAPTAINS TO-DO-LIST

1. Make sure that you have access to your team's Bowlsnet login details for the new season. This is used to add match results, and more, once the season is up and running. If you have forgotten the login details you used last season or you are new in the role then get in touch to request your login details. See bottom of page for how to get in touch.
   

2. One of the most important early things captains need to do is ensure that the Emergency Team Contact details are up to date. These will be used to contact you on matchdays whenever the green is unplayable, to prevent your team and supporters from travelling. It is then your responsibility to contact your team members. You need to login to Bowlsnet by clicking on the black round button, labelled USER INFO in the top left hand corner of the page. Click on GUEST ACCESS and enter your Username and Password. Then click on CLUBS from the top border menu. Then click on TEAMS. This should bring up the Team Information page. This contains the information for last season. If this is accurate then no change is required. Make sure that the person at the top of your team's list is the correct one to be contacted on matchdays and will relay the postponed messages on to all the team members. Click on the details of any of the contacts that you need to change or delete. If the Team Captain picks the team then they should be at the top of that Contact List. Please include your telephone number and email address.
   

3. On Bowlsnet check that your team list of Registered Bowlers is correct and complete. You can do this by logging in to Bowlsnet Then click on CLUB from the top border menu then click on PLAYERS. Then select your team from the full listing. If you need to change or add any bowler details you have to contact us to do that for you. All bowler registrations have to be entered by the League Administrators (Jeff Jacklin or Bob Haigh). Our contact details are at the foot of this page. Please provide each new bowler's forename and surname, BCGBA number and Date of Birth. Please also let us know of any bowlers who are no longer playing for your team so that their record can be deleted.

   Many club and team captains have been in touch already about changes to their team numbers, so thank you for that. You can register new bowlers at any time during the season but remember that all bowlers have to be aged 60 or over to qualify to play in the League. Also remember that bowlers can only play for one team in a season. When they play their first match for a team, they are then tied to that team for the rest of that season. You can try using last season's Username and Password they should roll forward but please don't struggle with anything.
