In the middle of a heatwave so time to talk about Winter League bowling! The fixture programme for the 2025-26 season will be published on Monday 1 September with a start date of 13 October for the opening round of fixtures. The full list of start dates Division by Division is below:

With nine new teams playing in the League this season we are now up to 72 teams playing in 9 Divisions as the demand continues to increase and shows no signs of slowing down. We already have a further three new teams applying to join the League for 2026-27 season.

The additional Division means that the League will be looking to add to its catalogue of trophies for the new season. Trophies are presented to the winning team of each Division as well as the Top Bowler in each of the nine Divisions. So we are looking for two new trophies and if you are interested in donating a trophy, maybe in memory of a former bowler or you are just a generous benefactor then now is a good time to get in touch. Trophies can be purchased from £70 upwards and we have some brochures to help a sponsor select the most suitable prize to be presented annually to the winners. With an anticipated demand for a new Division 10 for the 2026-27 season we will be looking for another host green. If your club could be interested in making a £3,00-£4,000 profit for running a one-day a week set of fixtures for 14-weeks from October to February then the above contact details apply.
