Will Hemplow's home green status count?

Preview of Tuesday's Division 8 fixture programme at Hemplow

With nine teams in Division 8 it means that one team sits out each round, it was host club Hemplow B in the opening round but they get the chance to show their worth this week with a game against Lockwood Con C, a side who went down 6-2 to Kirkheaton C&BC C when they started their campaign.
This week’s team to “miss out” on a game is Mirfield CBC C who had started their season with a fine 6-2 success over Broad Oak B a week ago. The Broad Oak B team will be looking to record a better result when they face Golcar C&BC this week but will have noted that the Golcar side recorded a good win over Broad Oak’s A side a week ago. Can the B side fare better than their club mates?
Kirkheaton’s C&BC C’s success last week has already been mentioned and they will be confident of adding another victory to their name against a New Mill C side who were on the wrong end of the only 8-0 scoreline in this division a week ago when going down to Greenhead Park.
The brief form line from just one round of fixtures will suggest that Greenhead Park should prevail against Broad Oak’s A side this week in the final fixture of the second round of games in Division 8.
