Veterans Inter-District Merit Finals on Friday

This new competition invites each Veterans Inter-District League team to provide two bowlers to contest this new Merit competition. With nine teams in the League that means that one team is stood once during the season and that date has now been set aside for Districts to arrange their own KO competition to identify two bowlers to represent them in the final stages of the competition. That all happens next Friday with 18 bowlers progressing through to Finals Day. There is a 10.30am start time at Smirthwaite BC and all will be decided on the day. Good luck to our two representatives, Tim Poulter and Andy Lumb, aiming to make it two titles in 2 days after his Rose Bowl success of Friday.
