A preview of Division 3 and Division 4 fixtures scheduled for Monday 6 November
Monday 13 November: Next week's Division 3 fixture programme has been postponed as the green is not available to the League on that date. Those fixtures have all been moved to Monday 26 February. The Division 3 fixtures for Monday 11 December have also been rearranged for another date. Full Story
We will be more than a third of the way through the Division 3 season after this week's set of fixtures and the results to date have only confirmed what was expected. Marsh United and Hanging Heaton were the Fantasy League's most popular picks and they have risen to that vote of confidence.
Tucked in between them at present is the Milnsbridge B team and Milnsbridge have a week off and expectations are that their 6 points lead over Hanging Heaton will disappear. A match against Rastrick should be within the scope of Hanging Heaton based on results to date. However they cannot pass Marsh United this week whatever the outcome of their meeting with second-from-bottom Paddock I&C.
Primrose Hill Lib are the only team in Division 3 still looking for their first win of the season and they take on Lindley Lib B in the latest attempt to address that little matter. A meeting of Dalton and Thorpe Green B completes this week's line-up.
New Mill B continue to set the pace at the top of the Division 4 table and this week take their 100% win record up against the host club's A team. That Netherton side lost for the first time last week and will be looking to address that setback Second placed Thorpe Green C have an interesting encounter against Lindley Lib C who have won both their games to date and could go second themselves with a big win over their Monday rivals. Two teams looking to avoid defeat for the first time this season meet up when Springwood B play Almondbury BC A and Kirkheaton C&BC look to make it two wins on the trot with a match against bottom-of-the-table Lowerhouses B.
