Club News: Todmorden Academy
We have reported before on the work being undertaken at Todmorden to revive bowling on this 4-green club. Great strides have been taken to re-invent the club by concentrating on attracting new bowlers to the sport. They have even rebranded themselves as the Todmorden Academy. It seems to be working. Here is their latest update and photos.
From a disaster scenario two years ago; Covid gave us the breathing space to create the Academy and now membership is up from maybe 50 to 120! Take a day trip out?

Unlike a Sunday dinner, two hours to enjoy the courses, savour success and skills on display.
Come along and have fun - every Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon!
Many visitors have become club members, bought their own bowls, jack and mat.
Bowl anytime there's a green free!
