Three events scheduled for today have been postponed due to the adverse weather which left greens waterlogged.
The Veterans League John Hoyle Cup competition was called off this afternoon at Moldgreen Con and has been rearranged for Sunday at 1.30pm at the same venue. This is the end-of-season competition for past and present bowlers of the Veterans League Inter-District teams. The Golcar Lib 4-Person Team KO Qualifying Round scheduled for tonight has also been postponed to a date to be confirmed. It is hoped to go ahead with the Saturday evening Qualifying Round tomorrow evening with a 6.30pm start time.
The heavy rain also caused the postponement of the Veterans 6-Man League Division 2 match scheduled today between Meltham and New Mill and this has been rearranged for next Monday (3 October).
