Winter League A preview of the Division 5 fixtures scheduled for Thursday 17 November
Thorpe Green 'C' are the Division 5 leaders with the only 100% win record in the division when they meet Milnsbridge 'C' this Thursday at Netherton Con (11.30am).
Four wins from four matches is a formidable start to the season, especially as the latest of those was against their nearest rivals in the table, Netherton Con 'B' by 6-2. The Netherton outfit will be looking to recover from that setback when taking on bottom-of-the-table Brockholes 'B' this week.
The teams in 3rd and 4th places meet up and Springwood 'C' will be looking for a big win to keep their interest in the promotion push very much alive. However, a win for Almondbury BC 'B' could put them third and renew interest in the promotion battle and put memories of their surprise defeat to Golcar C&BC from last week behind them.
The Golcar team and the Rugby Club both clocked up their first wins of the season last Thursday and both will be looking to add to that success when the teams go head-to-head this week.
