Team KO repeat Final lined up

The neutral greens for the Team Knock-Out semi-finals and Final have now been confirmed. The Final will be played at Kirkheaton Con on Thursday 19 June at 1.30pm. Before then the two semi-finals will both be played in Marsh on Thursday 5 June. The Lindley Lib A v Cowcliffe tie will be played at Marsh Lib whilst the Shepley v Longwood match will be on the Marsh United green.

The two Scratch teams, Cowcliffe and Longwood, have been kept apart making them the two favourites to reach the Final. Should that happen then it would be a direct repeat of the 2024 Final when Longwood beat Cowcliffe by 145-108. Last year neither team were playing off Scratch with Longwood on +9 and Cowcliffe on +5.

Supporters of the underdog will be hoping that the sole non-Division 1 outfit left in the competition, Shepley, can produce a shock when they play Longwood who currently head the Division 1 table. That would be some achievement but a +18 handicap start could make all the difference.
