Veterans League

The last eight teams left in the hunt for the 2025 Veterans League Team KO title go up against each other at the Quarter-Final stage today with a 1.30pm start time. This competition format provides the same set-up as League matches with 4 Singles and 3 Pairs but the one difference being that Aggregate For totals determine the winner. In the event of a draw, then the team with the most wins will prevail.

Half of the Quarter-Finalists are Division 1 teams and they have all been kept apart in the Last 8 draw making an all-Division 1 Semi-Final line-up possible. However that would be doing a disservice to the other four teams with two each from Divisions 2 and 3.

Two table toppers go up against each other as Division 1 scratch side Longwood take on Division 3 table leaders Almondbury Lib with a +27 handicap start.

The other three Division 1 teams are all sitting in the bottom half of that latest table so probably not in the best run of form to recover greater handicap scores.
