Matters are getting serious as the last eight contenders in the Sub-Team KO competition prepare for Thursday's quarter-final matches. Division 4 teams dominate the rankings with no less than 5 of the 8 quarter-finalists coming from that division. That five includes the two top teams in the Division 4 table and they play the two remaining Division 3 teams on Thursday. That sees Division 4 teams Marsh Lib A (+5) and Kirkheaton Con B (+14) take on two scratch teams in Skel Windmill and Paddock I&C respectively.

Netherton Con B are the sole remaining Division 5 representative and they play Ravensknowle Park who sit in 9th position in Division 4 and have to concede a 13-point handicap start for the Netherton team. The remaining tie is between two Division 4 teams with Marsh United B having a 4-point handicap start over Milnsbridge B which more or less describes their present different table placings.
