Winter League

The snow flurries arrived at Lindley Liberal around 10am and had deposited their loads and departed before 11am leaving a white legacy for the bowlers to master. The sun came out and after the novelty of following snow trails left by the jack had long gone there was the problem of a game of two halves. One-half of the green snow-covered with woods 'picking-up' turning to icy patches as bowlers compressed them and the other half a bright green surface travelling much truer. The first photo is the green at 11am and you can follow the story from there. A true Winter League scene.
