The Section C match between the remaining two unbeaten teams in the League went the way of the home side in emphatic style as Slaithwaite demolished Almondbury Liberal's unbeaten record by 7-0. That was one of six 7-0 wins on the day in the 13 league matches. Joining the whitewash brigade in the same section were Holmfirth 'A' and Hemplow who beat Marsh Lib and Shepley 'B' respectively. That all leaves unbeaten Slaithwaite with a 5 point lead over Almondbury Lib at the top of the section and they still have a game in hand over their nearest opponents. Holmfirth 'B' completed the section's programme this week with a 5-2 away win at Thongsbridge 'A' to go third, level on points with their 'A' side but with a 3-point better 'For Aggregate'.

All four matches in Section B went the way of the home side, three of them with 7-0 scorelines with leaders Honley Con leading the way when beating Marsh United who remain in the relegation places. Golcar C&BC remain 3 points behind the leaders after their 7-0 win over Meltham and Clayton West completed the trio of whitewash scorelines when beating bottom team Primrose Hill Lib. Skel Windmill 'A' remain in third place after overcoming Golcar Lib 6-1.

The results in Section A were all with the run of form as Shepley recovered from their first defeat of the season the previous week to hit Crosland Moor for six and now have a 7 point lead over Brockholes 'A' who also won when overcoming lowly Paddock I&C by 5-2. Milnsbridge and Thongsbridge 'B' sit 3rd and 4th after both had 5-2 away wins at Oakfield and Longwood respectively. The Lindley Lib v Netherton Con result remains outstanding as this posting is added and both teams need the points for very different reasons. Lindley Lib sit bottom and need 4 points to move off the bottom and 5 to move out of the relegation places whereas Netherton could go 2nd with a 7-0 whitewash as their defence of the title is in danger of fading.
