Veterans League
Round 1 of the Team KO is this Friday and involves the top 32 teams from last season so all of Divisions 1 and 2 plus the top five teams from Division 3 go into a straight knock-out competition. The usual 4 Singles and 3 Pairs format but the tie is decided on the aggregate scores with the number of matches won only coming into play if the aggregate scores are level.
Golcar Lib are the defending Champions after beating Cowcliffe in the final last season and they start off with a tie against the new team from Elland WMC. to be played at Almondbury BC. There is only one all-Division 1 meeting and that features Kirkheaton Con A v Lockwood Con A. The opening round will be played on Friday 19 April.
Denby Dale reached the quarter-finals of last year's competition but won't be doing that this year as they have already withdrawn allowing Lowerhouses a bye into Round 2. There are also byes for Lindley Lib A and Clayton West whose opponents have both withdrawn from the competition. The full draw along with the handicaps and neutral greens are all below.
