We expect Primrose Hill Lib to hold to their lead at the top of the Division 4 table when they meet relegation-threatened Brockholes A this Monday. Holding an 8-points lead at present it would have to be an extraordinary set of results to shift them from the top spot. That view is enforced by the fact that the two teams behind them in the table play each other as Elland WMC and Milnsbridge B go head-to-head. Those two teams head a chasing pack of five teams only separated by 3 points which should motivate them all to bring home the bacon in this week's fixtures.
I am surprised to see the Lindley Lib C team still sat at the foot of the table. The manner in which they took the Division 5 title last season by winning 13 of their 14 matches augured well for them consolidating that position this term But it hasn't happened for them yet. A match against a rejuvenated Linthwaite Hall team this week wouldn't be their choice of a starting position to trigger a recovery but I still expect them to start picking up more points soon.
Huddersfield Recreation Club A and Netherton Con A are one point and two places apart in the table and meet each other on Monday. The Netherton team remain the only team to beat Primrose Hill Lib this season whilst the Recreation Club lost 0-8 to the leaders last week so the form guide heavily suggests that the Netherton team are favourites to win this encounter. However we all know that bowling doesn't always end up with the favourite clinching the expected and it all depends on what happens on the day. Long may that continue.

I have mentioned before that the Division 10 table is developing into two distinct competitions of four teams in each. Currently, Skel Windmill sit at the bottom of the top half of the table but that doesn't reflect their real standing. They have already played the top two teams and drawn with them both. Tomorrow they will complete their fixtures with their top three rivals and from there on they only have bottom half of the table opposition to worry about. They would love to get a good start to the rest of the season by beating Hemplow B who have yet to play any of their top four rivals.
Thongsbridge lead the way and will not expect to be overly challenged with a match against Lindley Lib D who have aspirations of their own about moving into the promotion places and this will be the ultimate test for them. Rastrick will be poised to take advantage of any slipups from the leaders as they take on bottom-of-the-table Brockholes D who are still looking for a first win of the season although this will be their 3rd meeting with a top four opponent. Outlne B recorded their first win of the season last Monday which will give them encouragement as they line up against the team two points and one place above them in the table, Lindley Lib E.
