Winter League
Last batch (promise) of photographs taken at the first End-of-Season Party held at Netherton Con last Friday. Over 120 bowlers from Divisions 4, 5 and 6 enjoyed the celebration of the season and presentation of trophies to the team and individual winners.
Hot pork or beef sandwiches stoked up the reserves for a Play Your Cards Right session which saw three contenders all fail to win the £50 cash prize donated by Netherton Con so that has now been donated to Kirkwood Hospice. The sandwiches also provided the fuel for the dancers who took up the invitation from Phil James on keyboard to dance the day away. Colin, for one, was determined to follow that invitation and on a private crusade to dance with every woman in the room!
