Preparation continues at Netherton Con for the opening of the Winter League season where, for the first time, the club will host all the Division 5 matches this coming season.
Work continues on the green in the gap between the ending of the summer season and the first Winter League matches scheduled for Thursday 20 October. Green scarified, seeded, top dressed fed, dragmat, all done last week just before the rains came.
Having played on the green this year I thought it was already in very good condition and this work should enhance the experience even more.
