Preview of the Divisions 3, 4 & 5 fixtures scheduled for Tuesday 13 May

Springwood are next up to face Almondbury Lib who currently sit at the top of the Division 3 table. It may be the lead but it is a very precarious position to be in with three teams just one point behind them. Two top four have home fixtures this Tuesday. Those being the leaders and second-placed Brockholes A who welcome Slaithwaite. After losing their first three matches the Slaithwaite team finally woke up with an all-consuming 8-1 win over the previous table toppers Hemplow A last week and it will be interesting to see if that was a one-off or a return to last season's form.
Third-placed Lindley Lib B have to go to Holmfirth A who sit 5th and are just 3 points off the leaders. Hemplow A need to bounce back from last week's humbling defeat to Slaithwaite and will have a good opportunity with an away match at Marsh Lib A who sit in the second relegation place at present.
It is all a little congested at the foot of the table where the struggling Lockwood Con B team are home at 9th placed Paddock I&C and Linthwaite Hall (10th) host Thorpe Green (8th).

The Division 4 top two teams both have unbeaten records but one of them will lose that status this week as the leaders Skel Windmill go to play 2nd placed Marsh United B. The winner will probably be rewarded with top spot for at least a week. Then there is third-placed RUBC at home to 4th-placed Kirkheaton C&BC.
Huddersfield Recreation Club and Ravensknowle Park are both on 13 points and both just above the relegation places so when they meet this Tuesday the loser is in a perilous plight which is likely to leave them in the drop zone. That is especially the case as the bottom two teams both have home matches this week with Meltham B entertaining Milnsbridge B and Netherton Con B at home to 5th-placed David Brown Sports. As David Brown Sports have lost both of their away fixtures this season there is hope for the Netherton team of moving out of the drop zone.
Primrose Hill Lib and Thongsbridge B sit 8th and 7th respectively and meet up this week with one point between them and mid-table respectability within the grasp of the winners.

The Division 5 leaders are Lindley BC B and they are being chased by three teams who are all within two points of them. They meet one of those three in 4th-placed Greenhead Park who have won both of their home games this season on their new home green at Thorpe Green. Kirkheaton Con B and Dalton are the other top four teams and they both have home fixtures on Tuesday. Both will be expecting to win against lower placed opponentsand cement their places in the promotion race.
The bottom four teams face each other as Holmfirth B have to go to Broad Oak B and Brockholes B travel to Kirkheaton C&BC. Hemplow B appear to have recovered from their opening day thumping at Dalton by winning their three subsequent matches to sit comfortably in 5th place and only four points behind the leaders. They will be aiming to emphasise that recovery by clocking up a 4th straight win when hosting Marsh Lib B.
