Review of the Division 2 fixtures played on Tuesday 2 December.

Suddenly Clayton West have opened up an eight-point lead at the top of the Division 2 table after logging a whitewash 8-0 win over Marsh United. Greatly assisted by Lindley Lib A beating New Mill B by the same 8-0 scoreline to swap places with their rivals and take over the second promotion place for good measure. That was only a second defeat for the New Mill team and is a major setback to their promotion hopes.

The Lowerhouses' derby turned out to be a really close affair with the A team edging it with a 61-60 aggregate scoreline to run out 6-2 victors and move back into the top half of the table. Meltham A won for the first time this season when seeing off Milnsbridge A 6-2 but remain firmly anchored to the foot of the table, but it is a start.
