Review of the results in Division 2 from matches played on Tuesday 18 November

Meltham A team continues to struggle after being relegated from Division 1 last season and are now firmly rooted to the bottom of the Division 2 table, 12-points short of safety and showing little of coming to terms with their plummeting flight. A third consecutive 0-8 defeat came at the hands of a Lindley Lib A team winning for the first time this season. That win for the Lindley team lifted them two places to 5th position and left Meltham in a desperate plight after four straight defeats to start the season and next week they have to take on the Division 2 leaders.
It is not just their A team that has had a bad start to the season as their B side in Division 8 are also struggling and looking for a first win of the season and also suffered an 0-8 loss on a Black Tuesday for the club.
New Mill B had a good 6-2 victory over fellow title chasers, Marsh United, and that win puts them clear in second place and closing in on the leaders after Clayton West were held to a surprise but very commendable 4-4 draw by Lowerhouses B. The Lowerhouses A side had a good 8-0 win over Milnsbridge A which lifted them from 6th to 3rd and did their B team clubmates a favour in condemning the Milnsbridge team to a relegation place.
