Lower Divisions Trophy on Thursday

Veterans League


There are 27 entries in this year's Lower Divisions Trophy competition which will begin on two greens this Thursday. The two greens are Hemplow and Marsh United with games played down to leave the last four at each green to progress through to Finals Day to be played at Longwood on Thursday 2 July. The draws at each venue will be made on the day to avoid any problems involving no-shows.


The Lower Divisions Individual competition, is a singles competition for 10-man Division 3 and below bowlers, and 6-man team bowlers. A minimum handicap will also be set for this competition by the Management Committee, in line with published Handicapping Guidelines, and no player who has a handicap less than this will be allowed to enter.
