Winter League
Review of the Division 2 fixtures played at Springwood on Wednesday 14 December

The last 100% winning League record of the season was blown out of the water on a frosty Springwood green when Lowerhouses 'A' beat Lindley BC 'B' 6-2.

That elevated the Lowerhouses team into second place but still 10 points behind the leaders. The Lindley 'B' team remains very much on course for swapping places with their 'A' side next year. Springwood 'A' relinquished the second promotion place after surprisingly going 0-8 to Denby Dale who got revenge for an opening day 2-6 defeat and now have a 10-point safety cushion over the relegation drop-zone.
That was a little bit rough on Jackson Bridge who made it three matches unbeaten after sharing the points with Lockwood Con who have now gone 5 matches without winning but a 4-4 draw takes them a little closer to that objective. Milnsbridge 'A' remain in the promotion mix after returning to winning ways with a 6-2 win over Rastrick 'A'.
