ALL OUR YESTERDAYS August 2015: Ladies Works League Drawn Pairs
The annual Drawn Pairs competition was played at Canalside and the 2015 event saw Wendy Edgar (Pearce Displays) and Liz Beaumont (Canalside) take the title with a 21-12 win over Susan Armitage (Alice Dawn Photography) and Jean Brook (Bolster Moor Farm Shop) in the final.
This is the competition where pairings are drawn on the day to add to the interest and introduce new pairings every year. The winners received a new bowling trophy introduced this year. Although entry numbers were down it was felt that standards were as high as ever with some excellent bowling on the day.
