On a brown green on a baking hot day, two teams lined up against each other, each seeking to win the Julie Fuller Trophy for a second time. It was the favourites that went on to win it, with all three Clayton West pairs winning convincingly to quickly overcome the 3-point handicap start that their opponents, Lindley Lib A had over them.
