The West Riding Inter-District team has a 49-point lead at the top of the Yorkshire table with only 2 more rounds of fixtures to complete. The Huddersfield team continues to fight to retain their title but things are not looking good and they go into the penultimate round of matches with a focus more on retaining second place rather than passing the leaders.
This Friday they take on Bradford who currently sit fourth but are within reach of our team so adding an edge to the home and away matches this Friday.
Both matches start at 1.00pm and the Huddersfield teams to play Bradford are: Home at Thongsbridge C&BC: Alan Bamforth, John Bloomer, Mick Cox, Robert Dickinson, Peter Hopkinson, Peter Kain, Graham Sigsworth, Roland Swallow. Reserve: Barry Gibson. Manager and Non-playing Captain Frank Greenwood.
