The Huddersfield Veterans Inter-District meet their Halifax counterparts tomorrow with the home leg switched from the unloved Lockwood Con green to a new home at Lowerhouses. Let's hope that a change of venue brings a change of fortune. Both matches start at 1.00pm tomorrow (12 June).

Long gone are the days when these two teams were contesting matters at the top of the table as opposed to the bottom half gatherings they have become. With Leeds having a bye week, the big match in this round of fixtures is top of the table, West Riding, taking on third-placed Bradford, with the leaders holding the only unbeaten record in the competition.

The Huddersfield home team is Mick Chapman, Martyn Skuse, Robert Spencer, Andrew Wike, Andy Carter, Graham Sigsworth (captain), Robert Dickinson, Adrian Cooper.
