Review of all the Division 2 fixtures played on Tuesday 5 November

Division 2 at Cowcliffe Lib

Hanging Heaton A have started their season with a second emphatic 8-0 victory to complete the double over the two Lindley teams in Division 2. The manner of the win could hardly have been more overwhelming as the Lindley BC B team only managed to accumulate an 'aggregate for' total of 13 from the three games. Surprisingly that is not a new record low score as Hanging Heaton beat Primrose Hill Lib 63-11 last December in a Division 3 fixture which set the League's lowest record score.

However, Hanging Heaton are not the only team with an early 100% win record as Lowerhouses A and Golcar Lib have also won their opening two fixtures. Lowerhouses A inflicted a second 0-8 scoreline on Lindley Lib B to condemn them to bottom place and Golcar Lib continued their revival from relegation to beat Marsh United 6-2. The meeting of two winless teams saw Clayton West address that matter by beating Milnsbridge A 6-2.
