Veterans League
The Golcar Lib team were favourites in the Final of the Team KO and they were the fastest out of the blocks winning 3 out of the 4 singles to set their stall out to win this trophy for the third time. The four singles bowlers racked up a 35-point lead which dropped a little with the 5-point handicap advantage to Lindley Lib added making a total of 30 points that the three pairs bowlers would have to overcome if they were to pinch the title.
That was not to be although Lindley Lib won 2 of the 3 pairs games they were still 21 points short of Golcar's set target who run out convincing winners by 126-105.
