Ladies Works League
Three matches in each of the two divisions of the Ladies Works League this coming week as action returns after the Bank Holiday break with three of those scheduled for Monday evening. Division 1 leaders Atkinson Butchers take their unbeaten record to be tested at Linthwaite Hall against Strait Kutz Hairdressers where the home side will be looking to improve on last season's (2019) 105-159 scoreline. On the same night the Huddersfield Recreation Club and PEG Perego meet when one of them will win for the first time this year. Then on Friday Alicia Dawn Photography will be looking to bounce back to form with a home game against Bolster Moor Farm Shop after successive defeats having seriously damaged their title aspirations.
Paul's Kitchens has had a bright start to their Division 2 season when they hope to make an immediate return to the top division. If those ambitions are to have any credibility then they will need to despatch visitors Pearce Displays to extend their opening winning run. Holmes Dresser have the other unbeaten record in Division 2 and they will be expecting to keep that going when personalise HR welcome them to play their first-ever fixture on their Springwood home green. Leaders D Haigh & Co will be looking to stack up their points tally when they travel to play Brook Hansen 'B' on Monday evening after tasting defeat for the first time in their last match.
Brook Hansen 'A' and Colne Valley Garden Centre sit this week out and the full week's fixture programme is below.
