Sport England has organised some free training sessions for members of sports clubs including crown green bowling clubs to introduce skills to market, promote and increase membership of your club.
It is primarily about using new technology and the internet to promote your club and its activities and change the image of it among the general public as well as targeting specific groups and individuals.
It will provide some training on how to promote your club to increase membership as well as address the image of bowling among the greater community. These are skills that would normally cost you a lot of money to attain and all it needs is some time from some people to put the skills into practice. The initial webinar will provide more details of specific training programmes you may want to take further. The webinar starts at 11am on Tuesday 14 September.
