First Winter Cup qualifiers this week

Winter League

With entries now passing the 100 mark, the opening qualifiers of the 2026 Winter Cup are scheduled for this week. On Tuesday the Divisions 8 and 9 will hold their competitions with 7 and 16 entries respectively. The full line-up for the first two qualifying rounds are further down this posting.

The qualifying rounds are all held on the greens that teams have been playing League matches on. The start time is always 11.00am with bowlers asked to be there and registered with the organisers by 10.45am to enable the making of the draw in time to support a prompt 11.00am start of the matches. All matches are 21-up and we are bowling down to the last two bowlers who will progress through to the Round of the Last 20 to be held at Huddersfield RUFC on Sunday 29 March at 11.00am.
