Club News: Linthwaite Hall
The well-established Enid Blackburn Memorial Cup competition held annually at Linthwaite Hall gets a revamp and still has some vacancies for new entrants.
Bill Blackburn has sponsored this just-for-ladies competition in memory of his wife every year since 2004 has now increased the Prize Fund to £1,200 with £400 for the winner. It is always a good day and a few more entrants are needed to boost the competition this year.
It all happens this Sunday at Linthwaite Hall with a 10.00am start. Entries will be accepted until Friday evening by contacting Shirley Dillingham by email at whirl72@hotmail.co.uk or by phone at 01484-846331.
