I have been asked by the family of Eddie Wilkinson to post belated notice of his passing on 2 January of this year.
Eddie (aged 86) was very well known in local bowling circles as he started bowling well over 50 yrs ago and played for Thornton Lodge but his time in the Veteran's League was mostly with Crosland Moor Veterans. He was a very good player in his day and will be very much missed both on and off the green.
Beloved husband to Shelia, much loved Dad to Lynn. Loving father in law to Andrew. Loving granddad to Janice, Glen, Sarah, Alyson and Matthew. Great granddad to Daniel, Ellie, Holly, Samuel, Theo, Grace and Eve. Dear brother to Raymond, much-loved friend to Margaret, Mark and Michelle. Proud former Duke Of Wellington Battalion
