Division 8 fixture revamp

Circumstances change and there is a requirement to revamp some of the Division 8 fixtures with a need to complete the season no later than 23 February. This is all complicated by having 9 teams in Division 8 this season which means it is an extended 18-week season. That has led to finding three Wednesdays to allocate for League fixtures. Trying to fit them in before Christmas to avoid overloading the frickle weather period in January and February presents another challenge.
That means that three alternate weeks before Christmas will have two matches in a week, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as highlighted in yellow in the listing below. The new end date of 16 February allows one following Tuesday and/or 7 days to catch up with any postponed fixtures. On top of that is the need to allocate two days for the Division 8 Qualifying Rounds in the Winter Cup and Pairs Knock-Out competitions. These will now take place on Tuesday 22 December and Tuesday 29 December. We still await qualifying round dates from the host clubs of Lindley Lib (Division 1), Thorpe Green (Divisions 4 & 9), and Milnsbridge (Division 5).
