Division 5 Pairs KO qualifier on Friday

The Winter League's new Pairs Knock-Out competition continues with the Division 5 Qualifying Round to be played at Thorpe Green this Friday 24 January. Two qualifying pairs will progress through to the Last 16 playing for the Robert Hitchen Cup generously donated by Elland WMC.

The Pairs KO has got off to a good start with 80 (160 bowlers) entries so far and more qualifying rounds still to be played which leaves more entry opportunities right up to the end of January. Entries are still being accepted for this Friday's qualifying round for Division 5 bowlers with a 5pm closing time on Thursday the final deadline. A list of the closing dates for the remaining qualifying round is further down this posting.

All matches in the qualifying rounds are 21-Up or 15 ends whichever comes first.  All matches are 21-Up after the qualifying rounds. There are 13 pairs entered for Friday's qualifying round for Division 5 bowlers and they are all listed below. More entries are welcome before Thursday's 5pm closing time and an online entry form is at the foot of this posting.

Five Qualifying Rounds have already been completed so far involving 54 pairs of bowlers and this has seen 10 qualifying pairs lined up for the Round of the Last 16. Handicaps come into play from the Round of the Last 16 onwards.
