The Division 3 Winter Cup Qualifier was played at Springwood on Wednesday with Denby Dale bowlers dominating proceedings. After their exploits in lifting the Division 3 Champions title last week they added to that by filling both places from this latest qualifier. Next up it is the turn of the Division 5 bowlers who will compete for the two qualifying places at Lindley Lib next Wednesday. There were just 8 entries for this fifth qualifier which is just a convenient number for a knock-out competition. The day started with 3 Denby Dale entrants and all three progressed to the final round and two of them came out on top and will go the Round of the Last 24 to be played at Huddersfield RUFC on Sunday 29 March.

Bowlers need to have played one League match to be eligible to enter the Winter Cup.

Bowlers need to be aware of the later round dates which are both held at Huddersfield RUFC.
