The three columns on the left of the table show the key data that covers the finishing positions of each Division 3 team over the last three seasons. The DIV./POS. columns show the Division and Finishing Position of each team for those three years.

In addition the Colour Code Key table shows the final key positions of Champions , Promoted and Relegated each season for 2023-2025 of all the teams in Division 3.

What does the table show us? Well Almondbury Lib were the lead-all-the-season winners of the Division 3 title to continue their yo-yo existence at this level. This latest promotion following their 2024 relegation from Division 2 after one year at that level gained by getting promoted from Division 3 in 2023. A real yo-yo lifestyle!

At the opposite end of the table Lockwood Con B has a mirror record to that of the Champions. They have been promoted or relegated for the last four seasons with only the last three of them featuring in this table. The Lockwood Con B are making an immediate return to Division 4 after only gaining promotion last year as did Marsh Lib A who are also on their way back down.

Only three teams have been Division 3 ever-presents over the last three years and they are Brockholes A, Slaithwaite and Paddock I&C. The last named of those being delighted to avoid a worse outcome, flirting with relegation especially in the latter weeks of the season. Hemplow A inched their way into the 2nd promotion spot to recover their Division 2 status they lost two years ago with a one-point advantage over Brockholes A and Linthwaite Hall who both had better Aggregate For totals than the team going up ahead of them.
